Terms and conditions

1. Acceptance

These terms are the agreement between you and START NODE, S.A. for the use of the Hosanna application. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you disagree, do not use it.

Your personal data is handled under our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. Your account

You do not need to register to use Hosanna. The first time you open it, an anonymous session is created on your device without asking for personal data. Music, the Bible, chat, your streak and favourites work from there.

Registration is optional and lets your data travel beyond that phone. It is done with Apple or Google.

• Your anonymous session becomes your account, keeping your streak, favourites and progress.
• Before registration, uninstalling the app or changing phones may permanently lose that data.
• The account is personal and you are responsible for its use.
• You must be at least 13. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
• You can delete it at any time. See Delete your account.

3. Permitted use

Hosanna is for personal use. You may not:

• Download, copy, redistribute or resell the app's music, texts, audio or images.
• Use the content commercially without our written permission.
• Attack the app or server, bypass free-plan limits or access content you are not entitled to.
• Use the app to harass others, distribute illegal content or upload material you have no right to use.
• Automate access to the service or extract its content in bulk.

4. Hosanna Premium

The app can be used free with some limits. Hosanna Premium is a paid subscription that opens the full catalogue: all music, the Bible without the daily cap, unlimited chat, all devotionals, studies and prayers.

Price and periods

Available plans, price and duration are always shown inside the app before purchase, in your country's currency. Prices may vary by region and store.

Free trial

If a plan includes a trial, its duration appears on the purchase screen. At the end, it automatically becomes paid and the first period is charged unless you cancel beforehand.

Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to your App Store or Google Play account until cancelled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.

How to cancel

Cancel in the store where you subscribed, not in the app:

• iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You keep Premium until the date already paid. Deleting the app or your Hosanna account does not cancel the store subscription.

5. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so the store handles refunds under its own policy. We cannot issue them directly. This does not affect consumer rights in your country.

6. App content

Music, devotionals, studies, prayers, texts, illustrations, the Hosanna brand and software belong to StartNode or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. A subscription gives you a personal, revocable and non-transferable licence to access content in the app while it lasts; it transfers no ownership.

Some music, images and text are produced with AI assistance under human editorial review. Bible texts come from public-domain or freely licensed versions: Biblica® Open Nueva Biblia Viva with Torres Amat deuterocanonicals in Spanish, the World English Bible Catholic Edition in English, and Almeida Recebida in Portuguese.

7. What you write

Your prayers, intentions and chat conversations are yours and private. We do not publish them, show them to other users or use them to train models. We only process them to provide the service as explained in the Privacy policy.

8. Chat and its limits

Hosanna is a devotional tool. It does not replace pastoral support or professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you face a mental-health crisis or may harm yourself, seek professional help or contact your country's emergency service.

Devotional content reflects a Christian perspective and does not claim to represent any particular denomination.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove content and features. If a change materially reduces an active subscription, we will give reasonable notice. Relevant updates to these terms will also be notified in the app.

10. Termination and suspension

You may stop using Hosanna and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches, or use that harms the service or others. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

11. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect loss or data loss resulting from the service, or for decisions made from devotional content or chat answers. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or your consumer rights.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Panama City, without limiting any consumer forum your local law grants you.
